Selling Homes in

The Villages

The Villages is a retirement community in central Florida with a very active life style unique to The Villages.

Golf is a major part of The Villages with 13 Country Club Courses (11 of them have 27 holes) and 37 executive courses for a total of 666 holes of golf.  The photo along the right is the Glenview Course and Clubhouse. All of the facilities are scattered throughout the community making them easily available to all residents.  The Villages is billed as "Florida's Friendliest Hometown" and we are.  There are numerous activities scattered throughout the The Villages as well as many retail outlets and restaurants scattered around so that everyone in The Villages lives close to some of the conveniences.

More than 27 swimming pools and sports pools scattered about.   Some are for adults only and some are family pools.  There are also premium membership country club pools available.  Many of the pools are located near recreation centers with meeting rooms, pool tables, tennis courts, pickleball courts, horseshoes, boccie, and so much more.

Clubs are constantly being formed for people to share common interests of hobbies such as painting, miniature sail boating on a lake within The Villages, various types of dancing, different College and Universities Alumni Clubs and more.  The Villages provides free meeting rooms for the clubs.

The Villages has two polo fields, a wood working shop, our own radio station and a daily newspaper.  Many types of cards, bingo and games have standard times at various rec centers for any of The Villages residents who wishes to participate.

Also, The Villages has a total of 9 softball diamonds and many leagues and teams of different skill levels provide ample opportunity to pursue the sport loved by so many.   See the photo of a softball field  to the right.

Villagers have their own ideas about what activities they want to pursue and set up clubs to join with like minded people to pursue their dreams.  We have a track and field club that practices at The Villages Charter High School and the participants take many medals at the bi annual senior olympics and a swim club practices at an olympic size pool and also takes many medals at the event.  Many residents who have excelled, are available to teach or work with new commers to learn their sport.

The Villages has three town squares; each has live entertainment each evening from 5 PM to 9 PM, a movie complex with 8 screens, many restaurants and unique shopping .  We have our own hospital and many more medical facilities.  There are numerous strip centers scattered around The Villages so that grocery stores, restaurants, hardware stores, clothing stores and all sorts of other retail are readily available to everyone within The Villages and neighboring communities. Each of the 13 Country Clubs also have restaurants available to all.  The photos below show an entertainer preparing for the evening entertainment, a scene located on the edge of the Spanish Springs Town Square and The Villages Hospital.

Please note that we are independent Realtors with RE/MAX Premier Realty, Inc.  We LIVE in The Villages and WORK in The Villages, but are in no way affiliated with the developer of The Villages of Lake, Marion or Sumter County, Florida, or their subsidiaries.

We also work and sell homes in neighboring communities.  Some are retirement communities and others are not restricted and can accommodate families where many of The Villages support staff live.

The commercial space in the area is very important as it provides all the services we need to live satisfying lives.  We have everything from Walmart to Fresh Market for groceries and McDonalds to the Arnold Palmer Golf Club restaurant for eating.  In addition to the Hospital, we have Doctors of every specialty, rehab facilities, independent living, assisted living, nursing homes and various testing facilities.  We have numerous worship centers with many volunteers for every project imaginable.  In other words, we have a major population center with all the conveniences you would expect.

We enjoy showing people homes and we want to make sure we are showing the product best suited to each prospect.  WE LISTEN TO YOU.
